Monthly PR Favorites: january 2023

We’re back with our monthly favorites! Hopefully everyone’s new year is off to a great start! Read through the GSPR Teams’ favorites from this month.

Sara’s Favorites:

101 Essays That Will Change The Way You Think

I had seen this book shared on Instagram over the past year. Finally ordered it and am loving the inspiration so far. I also love following Brianna on Instagram for her words of wisdom.

The Nike Spark Sneaker

I love these as an everyday shoe – I don’t work out in them, unless you count my lunchtime walk (which they are very comfy for). I wasn’t so sure about the ‘chunky shoe’ trend, but the Spark Sneaker is the perfect balance of sleek + chunky.

Acure Brightening Face Scrub

I use a chemical exfoliant 1-2x a week, but my facialist told me I need a physical exfoliant to sluff off the chemical peel aftermath (use these on separate days though). My facialist has beautiful skin herself – so I listen to whatever she tells me! She recommended Acure as a dupe to ZO Skin and it really is a win.

Amazon Acrylic Organizer Bins

This might be lame – but I’ve ordered these bundles, TWICE. I use them in my pantry, bathroom cabinets, and closet. They look pretty, are the perfect size, and are a deal compared to other options out there.

Kristina’s Favorites:

Happiest Hour by Cassie Holmes

We started a book club this month and this was our first pick. Great to start off the new year with a book like this.

Ka’Chava Shakes

I’ve been loving the Ka’Chava superblends. They are tasty and have lots of excellent ingredients.

Alo Yoga ‘Soho’ Sweatpant

Loving the Alo sweats I got for Christmas. Living in them. I have in black and this anthracite color.

Jones Road Beauty

It’s clean, I love the packaging and so far I’m really impressed with the makeup. It is my new go to fav.

Daniella’s Favorites:

Peloton Bike +

I told myself that come 2023 I was going to invest not only in this bike but my fitness. I’m so obsessed with this bike! Not only are there an overwhelming amount of classes to choose from but it’s made me so excited to work out. The Peloton hype is real..

Frenshe ‘Cashmere Vanilla’ Bodywash

For those that don’t know, Frenshe is Ashley Tisdale's brand which can be found at Target. My friend had gifted me this bodywash and I absolutely love it. From the packaging to the yummy scent.

Hulu: Only Murders in the Building

When this show first came out in 2021 I didn’t even bother giving it a try.. until now. All I’ll say is DON'T sleep on this show. It’s a comedy/murder mystery and it’s just so good. Luckily they are currently filming for season 3 and I can’t wait.

Truffettes de France Truffles

I tried these chocolate truffles over the holidays and they are the most luxurious, velvety, chocolatey truffles I have ever tried! They may not look the cutest but they taste like a decadent hot chocolate.

Hannah’s Favorites:

HBO Max Original: Gossip Girl

The original Gossip Girl is in my top 5 favorite shows of all time and the reboot is moving its way up the rankings too! There’s no better drama than that of super rich kids living in the city—total escapism watching this show.

Lululemon Blissful Women’s Running Shoe (white)

Let just say running is not my forte, but these shoes are perfect for the 12,3,30 treadmill grind. I wouldn’t expect anything less from a top activewear brand! New year, new me and new shoes…
Kosas Revealer Concealer

An essential in my makeup bag: a perfect everyday conceal that has a skin-like finish and buildable coverage. Kosas is becoming a top cosmetic brand for me and I love several other products from their line (the Air Brow – Tinted and Tinted Face Oil are definitely honorable mentions).

Stanley: The Quencher Tumbler

Everyone and their mother has one at this point, but it has hype for a reason! It’s a great daily water cup and actually fits in the drink holders in a car.

Lis’ Favorites:

 Wednesday on Netflix

Me and my hubby's guilty pleasure of the month!

Moscow Mule Mocktail / Two parts Lime La Croix, One part Trader Joe's Brewed Ginger Beer, One slice of Lime. Yummy!

I've been doing Dry January, and this has been a fun way to still get in something fun other than water.

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Hydrating Serum

I have really dry skin, and this serum smooths and plumps in the most amazing way! It also doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.

Inner Dimension TV Yoga and/or meditation

I am in love with their 45-day program!
